Multiply Your Money

 

 

There are some cheap bastards out there who will actually tip you coins. I get upset with them but I can't throw the coins at them, I can't call them names (in front of them) and I can't make the tip any better. Well I can magically double the money but magic tricks don't put gas in my car. I can show you how you can magically double your tip right now. I can't show you how to make the idiot that tips nickels learn to decorate the mahogany with more than chump change.

Effect:

As seen in above video, Show your customer a nickel and tell him your going to multiply your money. Then, as you grab the nickel with your left hand it magically turns into two half dollars. (Quarters will work too.)

Solution:

1. Hold the two half dollars by the edges near the tips of your right forefinger and thumb.

2. place the nickel at a 90 degree angle to the half dollars at the very tips of your fingers. This should hide the half dollars from your customers.

3. Show the nickel to your customers at eye level. This will prevent them from seeing the half dollars behind the nickel Make sure your fingers are spread out to add to the illusion that there is nothing in your hands.

4. Show your spectators the front and back of your left hand then reach over to your right hand.

5. As your left hand moves towards the right hand, your right hand should be moving the backs of your fingers towards the customers.This will help hide the switch.

6. As your left thumb reaches the nickel it will tip it underneath the half dollars.

7. Pull the one half dollar away with each hand but only show the backs of your hands. No one will ever see the nickel
