Effect: Always know which item was touched when your back was turned.

Solution: This is another one of those tricks were you need a stooge to be in on it with you. First take any three items and place them on the bar. Tell your victims that you are going to turn around. The trick is that you and your stooge use a three letter secret code. I use RAT.

• R = "Ready" and the object is on my left.
• A = "Alright" and the object is in the middle
• T = "Turn around" and the object is on my right.

So if the stooge says "Ready you can turn around" I know that the object is on my left because the first word he said was "Ready". If he had said "Turn around now, we're ready", I would have known the object was on my right. It goes without saying that if the object was in the middle that my stooge would have started his sentence with "Alright.." This will work every time. Make sure to work out before hand whose left and right each signal corresponds with.
